Carmela Elita Schillaci is Full Professor of “Entrepreneurship” at the Economic & Business Department - University of Catania (Sicily).  She specialized at Bocconi University (Milan) and  at NYU /New York University-Snider Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. She works as an “Experts of  Technological Transfer ” for the Italian  Ministry of Education, universities and research (MIUR)  and  as an expert for “ANVUR”-National Agency for Italian Universities Research Evaluation.

She is member member of the Board of Italian Management Academy Society (SIMA); member of the Board of “IBAN- Italian Business Angel Networks” (Italian partner of the “EBAN-European Business Angel Networks); member of the Scientific Committee of Vodafone Foundation Italy; member of the Scientific Committee of Unicredit Group and member of the Schientic Committee of “Salone CSR & Social Innovation”-Bocconi University-Milan. Since November 2018, she is President of the National Scientific Qualification Committee for Associate and Full professor in Italian Universities.
